AKP member Şamil Tayyar shared the questions asked to PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan during the Process Commission delegation's visit to İmralı, and claimed that the meeting was recorded on video.

Tayyar stated, "All concerns in the public eye were posed as questions. Specifically two issues: The PKK has decided to disband and lay down arms, but why is this process not progressing as desired in practice? Why cannot the YPG issue in Syria be resolved? In summary, Öcalan says they can overcome all obstacles in front of the process, including the YPG in Syria. But he has a roadmap drawn up for this," he said.
Members of the National Solidarity, Fraternity and Democracy Commission, AKP Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman, DEM Party Group Deputy Chair Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit, and MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız held a meeting lasting approximately 3 hours with PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan on İmralı Island. The three individuals traveled to the island by helicopter yesterday. State officials were not present at the meeting, and no photographs were taken.
Making a post on his social media account after the İmralı visit, AKP member Şamil Tayyar stated that he agreed with AKP member Hüseyin Yayman regarding "security," who had said he did not go to the island when he returned from the meeting but later stated he had gone to İmralı following the official statement from the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
Tayyar also disclosed the questions asked to Öcalan and wrote the following:
“İmralı Notes.
First, let me state that an injustice was done to Hüseyin Yayman.
He was hiding the İmralı visit from a TV channel representative whom he did not know, was not familiar with, and who was later understood to be a PKK media outlet and had been briefed by the DEM Party.
He did the right thing; the aforementioned visit also has a security dimension.
As for the visit.
During the meeting, which lasted approximately 3 hours, the delegation members did not take a souvenir photo with Öcalan.
Although the DEM member wanted to take a souvenir photo, their enthusiasm was cut short.
While there is intense reaction to the visit, taking a photo and rubbing it in the nation's face would have been a huge mistake.
However, the state has recorded the meeting on video.
All concerns in the public eye were posed as questions.
Specifically two issues:
-The PKK has decided to disband and lay down arms, but why is this process not progressing as desired in practice?
-Why cannot the YPG issue in Syria be resolved?
In summary, Öcalan says they can overcome all obstacles in front of the process, including the YPG in Syria.
But he has a roadmap drawn up for this.
I will not go into the details.
Those critical notes from the meeting were conveyed to the state's top leadership today.
It was found to be promising, but there are still serious obstacles that need to be overcome.
As for my opinion…
‘Cautious optimism’ prevails in the AK Party.”
