While there was debate over what was discussed during the meeting, which lasted about an hour, a striking comment regarding the content of the meeting came from AKP member Şamil Tayyar. Tayyar claimed that the dark clouds between the two leaders had dispersed and made the following statement:

-Our President and Devlet Bey will come together today or tomorrow and resolve the issue among themselves.

-There will be no problem left; they will find a middle ground.

Both leaders left the meeting with great satisfaction.

All the gloom that had accumulated after the Öcalan call has lifted with this meeting.

We will witness the new roadmap in the coming days.
