Scammed while trying to send sacrificial animal money to a friend
In Trabzon, a person who sent 65 thousand TL for a sacrificial animal to a friend they were in contact with via a social media account realized they had been scammed after calling their friend and learning that their social media account had been hacked.

Y.Z. (29), who lives in Trabzon, communicated with their friend via social media. Y.Z., who sent 65 thousand TL to the account provided by the social media user for the sacrificial animal, called their friend on the phone a short while later.
Upon learning that their friend's social media account had been hacked, Y.Z. realized they had been scammed and reported the incident to the police. Following Y.Z.'s complaint, police teams launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect.
