The Independent Mine Workers' Union had published the working conditions of workers at Fernas Mining, located in Soma, Manisa, which belongs to AKP Batman Deputy Ferhat Nasıroğlu.

While protests that began after 7 workers were dismissed for union-related reasons continue, footage from the mine had drawn major backlash.

In the statement made by the union, it was said, "Workers are constantly working submerged in water with cables and equipment, despite the danger of gas leaks and electric shocks, without any precautions being taken."

Today, the union shared the moment of a collapse that occurred at the mine.

The collapse, which took place while workers were working, once again laid bare the dangerous working conditions.

The union included the following statements in its post:

WE ARE SHARING THE MOMENT OF THE COLLAPSE AT FERNAS MINING!

While the resistance continues, reports regarding working conditions continue to pour in. Watch the moment of the collapse inside the mine and see how the Batman deputy boss @fnasiroglu, who takes no OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) precautions, sends workers to their deaths!
