It is alleged that a newly hired female staff member at the Banknote Printing Plant General Directorate in Ankara, which is affiliated with the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), was harassed by a male employee working at the same institution.

According to the report by Hatem Mırçık from Korkusuz, the female employee submitted her complaint regarding the staff member named Necati to her superiors. However, it is alleged that instead of referring the accused staff member to disciplinary action, attempts were made to cover up the incident.

The report also claims that the same male staff member had previously harassed another female employee in a similar manner and that this incident was also covered up. Among the allegations is that the victimized women were mocked by being called "Necati's chicks."

It was reported that the female staff member, who was allegedly harassed, suffered a brain hemorrhage due to the stress she experienced and underwent an angiogram. Following the escalation of the incident, an inspector was assigned to the institution.

It was reported that the inspectors completed their investigation and research last week, and that in line with the reports, administrative and judicial action may be taken against the staff member accused of harassment and his superiors who are alleged to have attempted to cover up the incident.
