Aydın Ünal, an AKP member and former speechwriter for AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, reacted to the Atatürk post shared by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya following the postponement of the Super Cup final.

Despite all the reactions from the sports community, the Turkish Football Federation decided to hold the Super Cup final between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

Hours before the critical match, Saudi authorities did not allow the teams to take the field with Atatürk banners and t-shirts. At the same time, fans who arrived at the stadium wearing Atatürk jerseys were also not allowed in.

Following Saudi Arabia's scandalous stance, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray decided not to play the match. In the late hours of the night, it was announced in a joint statement by the TFF, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray that the match had been postponed.

YERLİKAYA'S ATATÜRK POST

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, in a post on his social media account following the scandal, stated, "The Founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK, is our country's common and unifying value."

SCANDALOUS REACTION FROM AKP'S ÜNAL

AKP member Aydın Ünal, the former speechwriter for AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, reacted to Yerlikaya's post.

Quoting Yerlikaya's tweet, Ünal wrote, "Did the CHP come to power, or what is it, did a coup happen in the middle of the night?"
