Scandalous remarks about women and the regime in a chat room: 'It was destroyed with blood, it will be established with blood'

A dialogue held in one of the chat rooms on the social media application X has drawn attention due to remarks hostile toward women and the regime.

A group hostile to the Republic of Turkey and secularism used scandalous language in a chat room on X.

In the chat, which featured numerous controversial statements such as 'When the Sharia state arrives, women who have been spoiled until now must be beaten with sticks' and 'Islamic law will come to this country through a coup, there is no other way,' it was claimed that the regime would be replaced by a coup.

It was noted that among those using scandalous language about women and the regime in the chat room was Fırat İsmail Yeleri, whose employment contract was terminated by THY Opet after his posts insulting Atatürk were revealed.

The fact that no investigation had been launched into Yeleri, who drew backlash for his scandalous posts targeting Atatürk and secularism, had been met with public outcry.
