JOINING AKP TODAY

It was stated that Çakır is expected to join the AKP today, and his party pin will be attached by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Seen at the group meeting, Hasan Ufuk Çakır made the following remarks in his first assessment regarding the process of joining the AKP:

“We came to serve the country. We came to stand against injustice, slander, and filth. Honest CHP voters do not follow slanderers. Neither a CHP member nor a Turkish nationalist would recognize a main opposition party that complains to England and Germany.”

EXPULSION SOUGHT, HE RESIGNED

Hasan Ufuk Çakır had resigned from the CHP on December 9, 2025, following the decision by the CHP Central Executive Board to refer him to the Party Assembly with a demand for permanent expulsion.
