Scathing remarks from Süleyman Soylu! 'Dishonorable, degenerate people...'

Following the discovery of Thodex founder Faruk Fatih Özer dead in prison, AKP member Süleyman Soylu used very harsh language in a post on his X account.

Faruk Fatih Özer, who was on trial for defrauding thousands of people through the cryptocurrency exchange Thodex, has been found dead in prison.

Özer, who faced a requested sentence of 11,190 years and 6 months for crimes including 'establishing and managing an organization,' 'membership in an organization,' 'qualified fraud,' and 'laundering of assets,' was found hanging in the bathroom of his single-person cell at the Tekirdağ F-Type High-Security Closed Penal Institution this morning.

A photograph of Özer visiting Süleyman Soylu during his tenure as Minister of the Interior had previously sparked controversy.

Following Özer's death, Soylu made a very harsh statement on his social media account.

Stating that he was being slandered, Soylu used the following expressions: “You dishonorable, degenerate people who slander and murder innocence over the death of a person I only saw for five minutes in my entire life just to take a photo.”

“You dishonest, sellouts whose pens drip with slander. You shameless people who are involved in all kinds of dirty relationships and who slink away by saying 'we didn't know' when it is understood that you are funded by black money.

You dishonorable, degenerate people who slander and murder innocence over the death of a person I only saw for five minutes in my entire life just to take a photo…

You enemies of Turkey who hold a grudge against everyone who serves this country…

You become pathetic and drool when you see those who do not establish relations with the CIA, MI6, and MOSSAD, whose errand boys you are; those who do not serve them like you do. I will settle scores with you before the law.”
