CHP's Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan responded harshly to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's statement regarding the party congress. Addressing Kılıçdaroğlu by saying, "Do not engage in wordplay," Özcan stated, "I will go ahead and explain the background of the races you entered with Mr. İnce, and what happened regarding who was to give signatures to whom and who was to withdraw their signatures."

While allegations of a suspicious congress continue within the CHP, former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu broke his silence today.

As the investigation into the CHP congress remains on the agenda, the 7th Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, broke his silence with a statement on his social media account.

Stating that he had received death threats, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "I am speaking clearly here to everyone waiting for a message from me: Let everyone know that we are capable of suffocating the enemies of this party within the party's own sanctuary."

A response to Kılıçdaroğlu's statements came from CHP's Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan.

Recalling the congress where Kılıçdaroğlu won against Muharrem İnce, Özcan said, "I will open all CHP congresses, including 2014, to debate! Do not do this and do not make me talk."

In the continuation of his statement, Özcan addressed Kılıçdaroğlu with scathing words.

Özcan noted the following:

"Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, please take this post seriously! Do not engage in wordplay! If you do not take it seriously, I will go ahead and explain the background of the races you entered with Mr. İnce, and what happened regarding who was to give signatures to whom and who was to withdraw their signatures! We both know how Mr. İnce lost. We never spoke about the pressure from 200 municipalities and 130 MPs so that the party would not be harmed! But if you continue to remain silent and add fuel to the fire lit by the AKP, then in that case, I will open all CHP congresses, including 2014, to debate! Do not do this and do not make me talk! Do not play into RTE's hands!!"
