Schedule finalized after group meeting: Özgür Özel and Mansur Yavaş to attend memorial event

Immediately after his speech in Parliament, Özel will depart for his hometown of Manisa alongside Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş.

While discussions regarding "dual leadership" and a "podium crisis" continue in Ankara's political circles, CHP leader Özgür Özel's schedule for today has been clarified. Following the official application made to the Speaker of Parliament, Özgür Özel will take the podium at the CHP TBMM Group Hall today at 13:30, and will leave the capital after concluding his address there.

MANSUR YAVAŞ WILL ACCOMPANY HIM

Özgür Özel's stop after Ankara will be his electoral district and hometown of Manisa. Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, one of the party's most powerful figures, will accompany Özel on this program. The image of the two appearing side-by-side will also be closely watched for the messages it sends within the party.

FERDİ ZEYREK TO BE COMMEMORATED

Özgür Özel and Mansur Yavaş will attend the memorial events for Ferdi Zeyrek to be held in Manisa. The CHP delegation, which will take part in the memorial ceremonies to be held as part of the program, will return to Ankara after their contacts there.
