The Istanbul Governor's Office has made an important regulation for the first day of the 2025-2026 academic year. It has been decided that schools will start at 10:00 and end at 15:00 on Monday.
3 MILLION STUDENTS AND 17 THOUSAND SCHOOL BUSES WILL BE ON THE ROAD
It was stated that 3 million students and 171 thousand teachers will begin classes in Istanbul on Monday, September 8, and this regulation was made taking into account the 17 thousand school buses and thousands of parents who will be in traffic on the first day of school.
REGULATION FOR PRIMARY, MIDDLE, AND HIGH SCHOOLS
In the statement made by the Governor's Office, it was stated that education and training in all public and private primary, middle, and high schools in Istanbul will take place between 10:00 and 15:00.
