School principal who committed violence against a student gives statement to public prosecutor

Inegol district's rural Yenicekoy neighborhood's Ömer Osman Çaglayan Middle School, a 6th grade student, Muhammed Emin K., was grabbed by the collar and thrown to the ground by the school principal and Social Studies TTeacher Mustafa C. has been suspendedfrom duty.

TheDistrict Directorateof NationalEducationDepartmentIn the written statement madeby theadministration, it was stated, "Due to the unfortunate incident that appeared in the local and national press today,the acting school principalserving at the relevant school has been removed from office;and in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Servants Law No. 657,an administrative investigation has been initiated.in accordance with theprovisions, he was suspendedfrom duty by thedistrict governor's office. Regarding the matter, a judicial investigationwas initiated by the InegolChief Public Prosecutor's Office, and an administrative investigationwas launched by theDirectorate of National Education.An administrative investigation has been initiated by therelevant authorities, and the process is being followed meticulously and closely. The public will be informed about the course and outcome of the investigation as developments occur," the statement said.

School principal Mustafa Ç. gave his statement to the public prosecutor. After his statement was taken, Mustafa C. was released to be tried without arrestIt was decided that he would be tried without arrest.
