Schools in Istanbul's Şile district closed on Monday

The Istanbul Governor's Office has announced that education in the Şile district has been suspended for Monday due to the heavy rainfall affecting Istanbul.

The statement from the Governor's Office is as follows:

"Due to the adverse weather conditions affecting Istanbul, education in primary and secondary schools in the Şile district has been suspended for one day on Monday, November 20. In parallel with this decision, personnel working in public institutions in the Şile district who are pregnant, disabled, or have chronic illnesses will also be considered on administrative leave on November 20."
