Sea taxi fares in Istanbul have been increased. With the proposal from the IMM, fares were raised by rates ranging from 19.04% to 275%, while the opening fee, which was 420 lira, increased to 500 lira. The transport fee for 8-16 miles was raised from 200 lira to 750 lira.

At the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) meeting, sea taxi fares were increased by 19.04% to 275%. During the meeting, upon the proposal of the IMM, sea taxi fares were increased by 19.04% to 275%.

FLAT RATE FOR PER-MILE TRANSPORT

In this context, the opening and first-mile fee, which was 420 lira, rose to 500 lira with a 19.04% increase.

It was decided that the per-mile transport fee, which was previously charged in stages, would be set as a flat rate.

In this context, the transport fees of 310 lira for 1-4 miles, 250 lira for 4-8 miles, and 200 lira for 8-16 miles were canceled and replaced with a single flat rate of 750 lira. Thus, the transport fee for 8-16 miles was increased by 275%.
