Search efforts for Korhan Berzeg suspended
Search efforts have been suspended following the discovery of bones in the Armutlu neighborhood of Gönen, Balıkesir, which are alleged to belong to the missing economist Korhan Berzeg (83).

Gendarmerie teams, who continued search operations in the forested area with cadaver dogs in the morning, did not encounter any further traces.
Meanwhile, the bones found in a creek bed yesterday, which are believed to belong to the renowned economist, continue to be examined at the Council of Forensic Medicine in Istanbul for advanced diagnosis.
DNA samples taken from the bones found in the creek bed will be compared with DNA samples to be taken from Berzeg's daughter, Nisa Berzeg, who is known to live in England.
Nisa Berzeg, who arrived in Turkey yesterday afternoon, has provided blood samples for DNA matching.
On the other hand, it was learned that Berzeg's other daughter, Sibel Berzeg, also lives in America and set out to come to Turkey as soon as she received the news.
While silence prevails in the village where Berzeg lived, it was learned that the search operations, which the gendarmerie suspended for today, will continue.
