Former Denizbank branch manager Seçil Erzan, who faces up to 226 years in prison for allegedly defrauding numerous figures from the sports and business worlds with promises of high returns, was sent to Marmara (Silivri) Prison yesterday.

According to a report by Dinçer Gökçe from Halk TV, Seçil Erzan was placed in the same cell as social media influencers Bahar and Nihal Candan, who are being held in custody over accusations of being part of a fraud ring and money laundering.

ARRESTED ON APRIL 11

Erzan, who was arrested on April 11, had been held at the Bakırköy Women's Closed Penal Institution. While Erzan is accused of "fraud" and forgery of official documents, the Candan sisters were arrested as part of an investigation that began on April 16, involving the defrauding of numerous people with promises of "cheap vehicles".
