Second access ban for Medyaradar
Following a complaint by Turkuvaz Medya, an access ban was imposed on Medyaradar, and now its new domain name has also been blocked.

In a statement released by Medyaradar, it was stated, ''The group's lawyers have made it a habit to make unfair demands in court, using the fact that their boss, Serhat Albayrak, is a ‘relative’ of President Erdoğan as leverage.''
Following the decision by the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Court of Peace to impose an access ban on the news site Medyaradar, the site's new domain name was also blocked on September 13 by a decision of the Istanbul 6th Criminal Court of Peace.
In a written statement issued by Medyaradar following the new access ban, it was said, ''Medyaradar, the free voice of the media world, has been having great difficulty reaching its followers since July 30. Because the Turkuvaz Media Group, citing a pretext, attempted to silence us without any notification or warning.''
'WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED'
The statement, which reacted to the access ban, included the following remarks:
''The group's lawyers have made it a habit to make unfair demands in court, using the fact that their boss, Serhat Albayrak, is a ‘relative’ of President Erdoğan as leverage. Unfortunately, they achieved their goal and obtained a closure order against us while not touching other sites that published the same news. Moreover, they did this even though we removed the link to the news in question on the same day in compliance with the court order, and they decided to shut down the site completely just because of one news story.
While continuing our legal objections on one hand, we tried to resist this unfair decision on the other by changing our access address from www.medyaradar.com to medyaradar.com. However, this group, which has frequently been the subject of Medyaradar news and commentary in the past, obtained the same decision for Medyaradar.com this time. The Istanbul 6th Criminal Court of Peace blocked our new address yesterday as well.
For exactly 18 years, we have neither given up on journalism nor on adhering to professional principles, and we will not give up now. Even if they shut us down not once, but twice or a thousand times, we will add numbers to our name if necessary and will not pause our broadcasting... Starting from the weekday, we will continue our publication at the medyaradar.net address. We will never cower in the face of what has been done to us; we will not be silenced.''
