A private security guard working at a company in the Memduh Paşa Mansion in Sarıyer committed a robbery with 4 accomplices. The robbers broke the locks on the safes in the mansion, stole approximately 130 million TL in foreign currency in sacks, loaded them into the back of a pickup truck, and fled.

The incident occurred yesterday around 03:30 at the Memduh Paşa Mansion located in Sarıyer Kireçburnu. According to the information obtained, Ahmet Y., who started working as a private security guard at a construction company inside the mansion about 1.5 years ago, devised a plan worthy of a movie scene.
After disabling the alarm during the night, Ahmet Y. let 4 masked individuals dressed in black inside. The thieves, who backed a gray pickup truck up to the mansion, then broke the doors of the 4 safes inside.
PRIVATE SECURITY GUARD DEVISED A PLAN AND ROBBED THE COMPANY AT NIGHT
The thieves then stole approximately 130 million liras in foreign currency, which they filled into 3 sacks found in the safes, loaded them into the pickup truck, and quickly disappeared from sight. Upon the report of the business owner, Ümit E., who arrived at the mansion in the morning, police teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams arrived in a short time and began examining the camera footage in the mansion.
THEIR IDENTITIES WERE DETERMINED
It was determined that the private security guard, Ahmet Y., whose identity was established, let the 4 masked individuals inside, that they broke the locks of the safes in the mansion, filled the foreign currency inside into sacks, and placed the sacks in the back of the pickup truck parked at the mansion. It was determined that the thieves then got into the pickup truck and drove away. The Public Security Branch Directorate teams, who launched an investigation into the incident, have started work to apprehend the thieves.
