Following the terrorist organization PKK's attack on the Turkish Armed Forces in Northern Iraq, a security meeting is being held at Dolmabahçe under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The meeting is being attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak, Director of the National Intelligence Organization İbrahim Kalın, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun.
The agenda of the meeting includes an assessment of the latest situation in the region, ongoing operations, and future steps. The relevant ministers will present information to President Erdoğan regarding regional security issues.
