Seizure of İmamoğlu Construction

The company İmamoğlu İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, in which detained Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is a partner, has been seized by a decision of the criminal judgeship of peace upon the request of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The investigations initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against IMM Mayor İmamoğlu and 99 suspects for the crimes of "managing a criminal organization," "being a member of a criminal organization," "extortion," "bribery," "qualified fraud," "unlawful acquisition of personal data," and "rigging a tender," as well as the investigation against 7 suspects, including İmamoğlu, IMM Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, and Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, for the crime of "aiding the PKK/KCK terrorist organization," are ongoing.

In this context, in accordance with the MASAK reports obtained today, the company İmamoğlu İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, in which İmamoğlu is a partner, was seized by the decision of the duty criminal judgeship of peace upon the request of the prosecutor's office.

In accordance with the MASAK reports obtained within the scope of the investigation on 19/03/2025, the company İmamoğlu İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, in which suspect Ekrem İmamoğlu is a partner, has been seized by the decision of the criminal judgeship of peace upon the request of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
