At the Paris Air Show, one of the world's largest aviation fairs held in the French capital, Paris, a critical cooperation protocol was signed between the Turkish defense industry company Baykar and the Italian defense company Leonardo.
Baykar has established a new joint venture with the Italian aerospace and defense company Leonardo under the name "LBA Systems."
According to a statement from Baykar, Baykar and Leonardo, who participated in the Paris Air Show, announced the establishment of their joint venture to develop unmanned technology.
50-50 PARTNERSHIP
Baykar and Leonardo will be equal partners in the new company, named LBA Systems. The legal and operational headquarters of the venture will be in Italy. LBA Systems will focus on the design, development, production, and maintenance of unmanned aerial systems.

A notable report appeared on A Haber in 2023 regarding the company with which Baykar Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar has signed a partnership. The report stated, "Activists gathered in front of the London office of Leonardo, which supplies weapons to the warplanes of occupying Israel, to hold a demonstration in support of Palestine."
