The full police testimony of Selçuk Tengioğlu, who attacked Özel as he was leaving Sırrı Süreyya Önder's funeral ceremony at the AKM, has been revealed.
It was also stated that Selçuk Tengioğlu, who was revealed to have murdered his two children years ago, receives an old-age pension from the state. In his testimony, the attacker Tengioğlu also said that he has 380,000 TL in the bank and that it is in a time deposit account.

Claiming that he did not know Özgür Özel would be there, Selçuk Tengioğlu stated that he is not a member of any political party and testified that he did not receive instructions from anyone.

Regarding allegations that he received money in exchange for the attack, Selçuk Tengioğlu replied, "No, no one gave me money. This is an incident I committed on my own. I did not receive money from anyone, nor did I receive instructions. Other than that, I have approximately 380,000 TL in the bank that I have saved gradually for savings purposes since I was released from prison. This money is in a time deposit account." On the other hand, Selçuk Tengioğlu stated in his testimony that he receives an old-age pension from the state.
"MY HEALTH IS GOOD"
In his testimony, Selçuk Tengioğlu declared that he does not use alcohol or drugs and stated that his mental health is sound and that he has not received psychological treatment. Tengioğlu said, "Thank God, I do not have any health problems, I have not received psychological support, I have not undergone treatment, and I do not use medication. I do not have any medical reports either."
