Selim Temurci reveals details of Erdoğan meeting to 12punto for the first time: 'Our President is our elder, we are evaluating'

It had been alleged that Gelecek Party Istanbul MP Selim Temurci, who was elected from the CHP list, had met with President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In a report by Altan Sancar from PolitikYol, it was stated that the topics of "the need for a change of blood in the AK Party" as well as "whether a return to the core is possible and what steps can be taken for this" were discussed.
Speaking to 12punto, Temurci confirmed the meeting.
THE MEETING TOOK PLACE UPON INVITATION
Stating that he held a meeting with Erdoğan upon the invitation of AKP figures before the holiday, Temurci said, "The President is an elder with whom we have engaged in politics for many years."
WILL HE JOIN THE AKP?
Regarding the allegations that he would join the AKP, Temurci said, "At this moment, discussing these things would not be appropriate for our relationship with our President, nor for party protocol. We are evaluating the situation."
