According to TRT Haber; it was determined that the company supervisor Serkan Yellice had consumed alcohol before the incident. It was established that the company official had reported the incomplete maintenance to Anet.

27 YEARS IN PRISON

Among the findings in the indictment are that those working on the cable car had just started their jobs and that the bolts on the collapsed pylon were rusted.

A 27-year prison sentence was requested for the defendants for 'causing death by conscious negligence'.

The then Anet General Manager Mesut Kocagöz was considered primarily at fault.
