Sexual violence threat against journalist Şule Aydın
Journalist Şule Aydın announced that she has received a threat of sexual violence and has reported the situation to the police. Sharing an image on her social media account of a message containing sexual assault content written on the wall by her apartment door, Aydın expressed her fear, stating, "I don't know what to say anymore. There is a word written on the wall of my apartment. There is a stain on it. I think this was done during the night yesterday."

Stating that she filed a complaint at the Kadıköy Pier Police Station, Şule Aydın said, "In this process where I receive regular threats due to our journalism, I want the person or persons who made this sexual violence threat to be found. We are not even safe in our own home."
