Doğuş Holding has agreed to transfer a portion of its shares in Galataport to banks in exchange for a 1.02 billion euro (1.1 billion dollar) loan that was taken out for Galataport but remained unpaid.
Yapı Kredi Bankası, Garanti BBVA, İş Bankası, QNB, and TSKB have announced their stakes in Galataport through Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) filings.
According to the separate statements made by the banks, the highest share ratio in Galataport will be held by Yapı Kredi Bankası at 13.24 percent. It is followed by Garanti BBVA with a 12.28 percent share and İş Bankası with a 7.18 percent share. TSKB has a 5.23 percent stake, while QNB has a 4.8 percent stake.
In this case, according to the final partnership structure, the shareholders of Galataport and their partnership shares are as follows:
Doğuş Holding and Doğuş Galataport GYO: 51 percent
Yapı Kredi Bankası: 13.24 percent
Garanti BBVA: 12.28 percent
İş Bankası: 7.18 percent
TSKB: 5.23 percent
QNB: 4.8 percent
