Shark attack in Egypt! One person dead, one injured
Another shark attack has occurred in Egypt, where a Russian tourist lost their life in a tiger shark attack in June 2023. One tourist has died.

In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Environment, it was noted that one tourist lost their life and another was injured in a shark attack in the country's resort town of Marsa Alam.
While no statement was made regarding the nationalities of the tourists, it was reported that entering the sea from the piers is prohibited for 2 days starting tomorrow.
The Ministry stated that the attack occurred in deep waters outside the designated swimming area near the piers north of Marsa Alam, announcing that entering the sea from the piers is prohibited and that the piers will be closed for two days starting Monday.
In June 2023, a Russian tourist had lost their life in a tiger shark attack.
Last month, 4 people lost their lives and 7 people went missing as a result of a tourist boat capsizing in the same region.
