Sharp reaction from İmamoğlu: Apprenticeship victims were detained at Erdoğan's rally

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu reacted to the detention of apprenticeship victims who were demanding their rights at a rally attended by Erdoğan.

AKP Chairman and President Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at his party's rally in Konya yesterday, where he became irritated by the slogans of internship and apprenticeship victims, stating, "There is no good news for an apprentice; it is for a journeyman or a master. Therefore, such steps are wrong steps. Loyalty to Konya and the people of Konya, and do not break this loyalty. You listen to us."

On the other hand, CHP Konya Deputy Barış Bektaş had announced that internship and apprenticeship insurance victims who went to the rally organized by Erdoğan in Konya were detained before the rally began.

REACTION FROM İMAMOĞLU

İmamoğlu reacted to yesterday's events at a rally he attended today.

Addressing Erdoğan, İmamoğlu said, "The election is approaching, so his democratic vein is swelling. He says, 'Oh my nation, shout the truths to my face without hesitation.' Yesterday in Konya, the internship and apprenticeship victims decided to shout them out and shouted them to his face. The result: they detained 50 people."
