Following this incident, journalist Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu responded to Haskoloğlu's post, delivering a stern message that the attackers must be punished. In his statement on his social media account, Mollaveisoğlu said, “Do not let these thugs see the light of day. You can ensure public order by giving them the harshest and most exemplary punishments” stating that such crimes create great anxiety in society and must not go unpunished.
