Renowned psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Arif Verimli responded to a question about 'disloyalty' directed at him on social media regarding the Müge Anlı ile Tatlı Sert program, where he served as a consultant for 14 years, by saying, 'I don't care... I left and moved on.'

HE HAD SAID HE WAS HURT

Prof. Dr. Arif Verimli, who worked as a consultant for a long time on the program Müge Anlı'yla Tatlı Sert, announced that he left the program of his own volition in 2021. In a program he later attended, Prof. Dr. Verimli said regarding his departure, "To be honest, I am hurt. What would you do if someone who has nothing to do with it pontificates about your field? I was annoyed by this. Mr. Şevki Sözen was entering my field every day. We requested, we argued, we did this and that, but our friend never listened." When asked, "Are you more hurt by Müge Anlı or Şevki Sözen?", Prof. Dr. Verimli replied, "Honestly, neither of them has any value to me."

In his statements, Verimli had also said that the program 'does not reflect the reality of society.'

I LEFT AND MOVED ON

Prof. Dr. Verimli responded to a question asked on social media, "Dear Professor, Müge Anlı said in the last program that she couldn't have done this program without Rahmi and Şevki; what do you think about this disloyalty?" by saying, "I don't care... I left and moved on."
