Büşra Bozkurt, who claimed she was fired by Erol Erkan, the father of former Central Bank Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan—who requested to be 'relieved' of her duties on Friday, February 2, and announced her decision via X—and who filed a complaint with CİMER, has requested reinstatement from the new governor.
According to the report in Sözcü, Büşra Bozkurt, who requested her reinstatement from the new Governor of the Central Bank Fatih Karahan, stated the following:
"I WANT TO RETURN TO MY JOB"
I only expressed my grievance. The incident was called an ‘operation.’ I was accused of lying. However, the truth has emerged. I wish the new appointment to be beneficial for our country and our nation. I am waiting to return to my job as soon as possible.
Stating that “The officials who dismissed me said with regret that they could not oppose the instructions of father Erol Erkan,” Bozkurt added, “As a last resort, I applied to CİMER. My only goal was to return to my job. I did not target Ms. Gaye. There was no plan organized against the governor, no operation, and no slander. I only had my grievance. I was accused of lying. Today, I have been saved from being made out to be a liar; I also want to be saved from unemployment and return to my job.”
