According to allegations, the incident that took place on September 22, 2023, at a shopping center in the Odunluk neighborhood of Bursa's Nilüfer district unfolded as follows:

Mertcan A., who had an argument for an as-yet-undetermined reason with 20-year-old Tolga Ergün and 29-year-old Yiğit Selçuk, who were working as waiters at an alcohol-serving venue, pulled a gun from his waistband, shot the two waiters and then Efendi Doğan, a security guard who arrived at the scene, and fled in his own vehicle.

Tolga Ergün, who was wounded by three bullets in the neck, right back, and left shoulder, Yiğit Selçuk, who was wounded in the right hip, and Efendi Doğan, who was wounded in the left foot, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

MAY REMAIN PERMANENTLY DISABLED

It was learned that the father of the seriously wounded Tolga Ergün is a retired officer. After his treatment in the intensive care unit in Bursa, it was learned that the wounded Ergün was transferred to Ankara GATA 2 months ago and his treatment is continuing there. It was learned that there is a possibility that Tolga Ergün may remain permanently disabled.

Although the Bursa police carried out efforts to catch the suspect Mertcan A. after that attack, they could not find any trace of him.

Mertcan A. tried to flee from a taxi that the "dolphin" police units (motorized police) stopped on suspicion yesterday. It was learned that the person taken into custody was Mertcan A. The gun he used in the incident was also seized on Mertcan A.
