A new development has occurred in the investigation conducted into the allegation that bank manager Seçil Erzan defrauded 21 people, including famous football players. New details continue to emerge from the 176-page statement given by Seçil Erzan on November 20, 2023.

ARDA TURAN'S VOICE RECORDING QUESTIONED

One of the famous names defrauded by Seçil Erzan was Arda Turan. Arda Turan had recorded his phone conversation with Seçil Erzan on April 6 and submitted it to the investigation file as evidence. Those voice recordings, which fell like a bombshell on the agenda, were asked to Seçil Erzan at the hearing. Taking the floor at the hearing, one of the plaintiff's lawyers, Attorney Murat Öksüz, asked, "Now, my other question is again about a voice recording you have with Arda Turan, a conversation record, 1 day before your capture, sorry, 2-3 days before, on the 7th or 6th." Seçil Erzan replied to this question, "I don't remember that voice recording, I don't know, I never saw it."

PRESIDING JUDGE INTERVENED AND ASKED

Attorney Öksüz responded to Seçil Erzan by saying, "It is transcribed in the file, it has been put on record." When Erzan said she had not seen it, her lawyer, Nazlı Nadide Karaaslan, intervened, saying, "Sir, I would like to remind you that she has the right not to answer because it is unlawful, if she does not remember." Upon this, the presiding judge intervened and the dialogue regarding the voice recording between Seçil Erzan and Arda Turan was discussed.

Here is the dialogue where Arda Turan's voice recording was mentioned...

Seçil Erzan: I don't remember, I don't even know there was a voice recording.

Presiding Judge: Arda Turan called you and tried to get from you who gave money, other than those I listed. You said, "Around 20-25 people at most." He asked, "Who took more?" You said to Arda Turan, "Semih took more." "How much?" "Fırat took more." You said, "I don't remember," you said repeatedly, "There aren't 100 people or anything." Arda Turan asked you, "How much? How many people are there?" "Are there 100 people?" You said, "No, no, not that many." You said, "Maximum 23, let's say 25 people, there aren't even that many. I knew those who were at a loss, for example, Emre couldn't get it, you didn't complete your principal, you didn't get your interest. How is it for those who were paid?" "No, those who were paid, oh Seçil, I'm a mess," he says, mentioning Emre and others.

Seçil Erzan: Can I learn the date, Mr. President? Can I learn the date?

Presiding Judge: I don't know the date in the record, but it is a time before this complaint, that is, before being complained about. Don't you remember having such a conversation?

Seçil Erzan: We were talking almost every day. I asked for the date because I wondered if it could have been on the days I was talking to the bank, because we had talked several times on those evenings throughout the time I was at the bank.

Attorney Murat Öksüz: It could be April 5-6, around that time.

Seçil Erzan: Okay, it could be during that period at the bank...

Presiding Judge: Okay, it was the April 6 conversation. Don't you remember this conversation?

Seçil Erzan: I was talking to Arda every day during that period. I need to read the details of this conversation to see what we talked about. You already read what I said there, you know, I said who took more, I said who took less.

Attorney Murat Öksüz: You said it was a fund. Can I move on to my other question, Mr. President?

Presiding Judge: Okay, go ahead.

Seçil Erzan: I already told Arda it was a fund.

SHE LISTED THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO THREATENED HER

At the hearing, Seçil Erzan's lawyer, Nazlı Nadide Karaaslan, says, 'Seçil Erzan was threatened.' The presiding judge asks, 'This has been discussed many times. Seçil Erzan, who is threatening you and how?' Upon this, Seçil Erzan revealed the names, saying, "Ayhan Akman threatened me. Fırat did. Semih did, Architect Çetin had a brother-in-law, he did. Süleyman Aslan did. Many people did. Tanın did, Merve..."
