Ship breakdown in the Dardanelles

The 83-meter-long general cargo ship named 'ANASTASIA', en route from Greece to Kocaeli, experienced a mechanical failure off the coast of Kepez while passing through the Dardanelles.
Upon the ship captain reporting the situation via radio to the Dardanelles Vessel Traffic Services Directorate, the 'Türkeli' tugboat belonging to the General Directorate of Coastal Safety (KEGM) was dispatched to the area. Other ships scheduled to pass through the strait were informed about the breakdown.
