The General Directorate of Coastal Safety had announced that ship traffic in the Bosphorus was suspended.
According to information received from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's General Directorate of Coastal Safety, the 5th Presidential International Yacht Races were held in front of Dolmabahçe Palace as part of the October 29 Republic Day events.
Ship traffic in the Bosphorus, which had been temporarily suspended in both directions, was reopened in the north-south direction as of 16:50.
