Ship traffic in the Bosphorus has returned to normal

Adverse weather conditions that were effective in the city during the morning hours had impacted ship traffic in the Bosphorus.

This situation, which significantly reduced visibility, endangered maritime transport, and as a safety precaution, ship passages in the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles were completely suspended.

Traffic in the Bosphorus, which had been suspended in both directions in the morning by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure due to limited visibility (fog), has been reopened.

Ship traffic in the Bosphorus has thus returned to normal.
