Ship traffic in the Bosphorus suspended
Due to the October 29 Republic Day celebrations, ship traffic in the Bosphorus has been temporarily suspended in both directions.

The General Directorate of Coastal Safety has announced that ship traffic in the Bosphorus will be suspended for a certain period.
The voyages suspended due to the October 29 Republic Day are as follows:
North-south: 00.20-19.20
South-north: 10.00-23.59
The Presidential International Yacht Races will begin with a moment of silence in front of Dolmabahçe Palace at 11.45. The 5th Presidential International Yacht Races, the only yacht race in the world held between two continents, will conclude with the Republic Cup stage in the Bosphorus.
