Trendyol 1st League team Manisa FK has reported that the water meters at the training facilities it leases from the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality were removed by the Manisa Water and Sewerage Administration General Directorate (MASKİ).

In a written statement issued by the club, it was stated that while the team was playing an away match against İstanbulspor in the first week of the league yesterday evening, 6 individuals identifying themselves as MASKİ personnel removed and took away the water meters at the Fikri Bayrıl Sports Facilities.

'WE CONSIDER THESE ATTEMPTS TRAGICOMIC'

The statement, which noted that the necessary legal process regarding the matter has been initiated, included the following remarks:

"We would like to state that we have made the necessary applications to law enforcement units and initiated a legal process regarding the 6 individuals who removed and took away the meters unlawfully by saying '(There are instructions from above)' and the officials who gave them these orders. We consider the attempts of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, which cannot legally evict our Manisa Football Club from the Fikri Bayrıl Sports Facilities where we have a lease agreement, but is trying to force us out with such 'cheap' methods, to be tragicomic."
