The late master poet and writer Ahmet Telli was commemorated at a ceremony in Ankara before being laid to rest. Telli's family, relatives, friends, and readers gathered at the memorial program held at the Chamber of Civil Engineers' Necatibey building.
At the memorial service, Ahmet Telli's coffin was brought into the hall accompanied by applause and carnations. In addition to DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları, the program was attended by DEM Party and CHP deputies, as well as numerous writers, poets, artists, and representatives of the literary world.
KILIÇDAROĞLU'S WREATH WAS NOT ALLOWED INTO THE AREA
Before the ceremony, wreaths were sent by many individuals and institutions. Among those who sent wreaths were CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the position of CHP Chairman by court order.
However, the wreath sent on behalf of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was not allowed into the ceremony area. It was reported that the florist who brought the wreath to the ceremony area had to take it back.
