Shock inspection for motorcyclists in Antalya: 460 drivers fined
During motorcycle inspections conducted in Antalya, 460 drivers were issued traffic fines, and 185 vehicles were banned from traffic. Additionally, 36 individuals with outstanding arrest warrants and 25 vehicles were apprehended.

Extensive inspections targeting motorcycle drivers were carried out by the Antalya Provincial Gendarmerie Command Traffic Branch Directorate. A total of 3,400 motorcycles and their drivers were checked during the inspections, which were supported by drones and involved the participation of public order and anti-smuggling and organized crime (KOM) teams. During the inspections, a total of 460 traffic fines were issued: 240 for not wearing a helmet, 25 for missing license plates, 55 for driving without a license, 20 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 55 for driving an uninspected vehicle, 30 for driving an uninsured vehicle, and 35 for exceeding the speed limit. Furthermore, 185 vehicles were banned from traffic, and 36 individuals with outstanding arrest warrants and 25 vehicles were apprehended.
The Gendarmerie Command announced that inspections will continue uninterrupted with the aim of reducing traffic accidents and loss of life.
