Shocking development in fake diploma scandal: Another name added
Another notable name has emerged in the fake diploma investigation targeting university systems and the e-signature infrastructure of public institutions across Turkey. Enver Yılmaz, a singer and President of the Federation of Prisoners' Relatives, has been added to the investigation file as a suspect due to his alleged connection to an organized forgery network.

A new branch of an organized network that infiltrated the e-signature infrastructure of public institutions has been uncovered in the fake diploma and document investigation being conducted across Turkey. According to prosecution sources, serious findings have been obtained during the investigation into Enver Yılmaz, who is known as a singer and also serves as the President of the Federation of Prisoners' Relatives.
FINDINGS ON MOBILE PHONE EXPAND THE CASE
Fake diplomas and mastership certificates belonging to various individuals were found on Yılmaz's mobile phone. Additionally, correspondence and message records regarding the preparation process of these documents were also identified. According to the prosecution file, criminal analysis conducted on the documents confirmed that they were prepared by an organized forgery network.
INTENSE COMMUNICATION TRAFFIC WITH KEY FIGURE
Numerous phone call records were found between Enver Yılmaz and Ziya Kadiroğlu, who is considered to be at the center of the investigation and one of the founders of the network. Witness statements revealed that this relationship was not limited to phone calls.
According to the indictment, it was stated that Yılmaz was shown as a graduate of the Atatürk University Business Administration undergraduate program. According to witness accounts, Yılmaz and Kadiroğlu frequently met at an address in the Gölbaşı district of Ankara, where they carried out fake graduation document and verification processes via e-Devlet.
STATEMENTS ABOUT YILMAZ FROM OTHER SUSPECTS
As reported by Halk TV, Münir Gözübenli, one of the suspects named in the file, stated that he knew Enver Yılmaz "because of his work." Gözübenli said that their paths crossed on some legal matters because his daughter is a lawyer.
Another suspect, Özge Baydemir, stated that Yılmaz had connections with the defendants in the investigation.
HE HAD VISITED AN ORGANIZED CRIME LEADER IN THE PAST
Enver Yılmaz, who occasionally makes headlines with photos taken with state officials, has become a subject of debate again after his hospital visit in May to Ahmet Tekin Baykal, who is accused of being an organized crime leader. Images of Yılmaz with Baykal at the Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine had drawn significant backlash on social media.
BAYKAL'S DARK PAST
Ahmet Tekin Baykal was detained in the İzmir-based raids held in 2008, known publicly as the "Anafor Operation," and was arrested on charges of leading a criminal organization. The allegation that Baykal, whose name was also mentioned in the Susurluk case, had the murderer of Özgecan Aslan killed in prison has also remained in the public memory.
