A striking allegation has been made against Muharrem İnce, who closed the Homeland Party to join the CHP.

Ömer Özdoğan, one of the founding members of the Homeland Party, claimed that İnce called him on the phone and hurled threats at him.

In a statement published on his X account with the note "To the Attention of the Public," Özdoğan included the following remarks: "During the conversation, Muharrem İnce clearly stated that he would find me, commit physical violence against me, and have my legs broken."

“To the Attention of the Public

Today, I encountered expressions containing severe insults, profanity, and explicit threats of violence during a phone call made to me by the former Chairman of the Homeland Party, Muharrem İnce. During the conversation, Muharrem İnce clearly stated that he would find me, commit physical violence against me, and have my legs broken.

This tone is not only unbecoming of a politician but is also incompatible with the principles of a state governed by the rule of law. Although these threats and insults directed at me are intended to intimidate or coerce, they cannot deter me or the cause I believe in from its path.

I hereby inform the public that I will initiate the legal process regarding this incident and exercise all my legal rights.
