Shooting and wounding investigation in Istanbul and Ankara: 8 suspects detained

Simultaneous operations were conducted against suspects identified as being involved in 4 separate shooting and wounding incidents in Istanbul and Ankara. 8 individuals were apprehended and taken into custody during the operations.

Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Public Security Branch, in coordination with the Intelligence Branch and under the direction of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, launched an investigation. As part of the effort, examinations and research were carried out to shed light on the shooting and wounding incidents.

Following the findings of the police teams, simultaneous operations were carried out in Istanbul and Ankara to apprehend the suspects. It was reported that processing of the 8 detained suspects is ongoing and the investigation continues.
