Significant development in Narin Güran murder investigation: Withdraws from the case

Lawyer Seda Toğrul has announced that she is stepping down as the defense attorney for the uncle, Salim Güran, who was arrested in the Narin Güran murder case. 

Toğrul stated, "As a mother, I cannot continue the defense. I will follow the case closely from now on, not as a defense counsel for the accused, but as a mother and a citizen."

Toğrul's statement is as follows:

"At the current stage of the case, considering the statements of other defendants and secret witnesses, the fact that Narin was found dead, and the forensic reports added to the file, I have withdrawn from my duty as defense counsel because I cannot continue the defense as a mother.

I feel the deep sorrow and pain of what our beautiful girl Narin went through directly within me as a mother.

I will follow the case closely from now on, not as a defense counsel for the accused, but as a mother and a citizen."
