Simav's first female mayor takes office
Kübra Tekel Aktulun, who was elected mayor of Simav from the MHP after a 25-year hiatus in the March 31 Local Administration Elections and became the district's first female mayor, has officially taken office.

Stating that Simav elected Kübra Tekel Aktulun as mayor following the victory the MHP won in the district after 25 years, MHP Kütahya Deputy Ahmet Erbaş said, "We attended the certificate of election and municipal handover ceremony together with the district organization, provincial general assembly members, and municipal council members.
Our enthusiastic citizens were also with us on this important day," he said.
