Simultaneous drug operation in 15 provinces: 881 kilograms of drugs seized, 101 drug dealers arrested!

According to a statement made by Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya on his social media account, a major success was achieved in the "NARKOÇELİK-3" operations carried out simultaneously in 15 provinces. During the operations, 881 kilograms of narcotics were seized, and 101 drug dealers and street-level sellers were arrested.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that a major success was achieved in the "NARKOÇELİK-3" operations carried out simultaneously in 15 provinces. It was reported that as a result of the operations, 881 kilograms of narcotics were seized and 101 drug dealers and street-level sellers were arrested.

About the Operations:

The operations were carried out in 15 provinces under the coordination of the Gendarmerie General Command's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Department.

Hakkari, Istanbul, Ağrı, Antalya, Diyarbakır, Van, Tekirdağ, Aydın, Bitlis, Kayseri, Afyonkarahisar, Denizli, Balıkesir, Kahramanmaraş, and Isparta are among the provinces where the operation took place.

Seized Narcotics:

81 kg of cannabis

3 kg of methamphetamine

20 kg of heroin

1 kg of cannabis, 750 g of methamphetamine, various amounts of narcotic pills and cannabis plants

4 kg 700 g of methamphetamine, 901 synthetic pharmaceutical pills

2.5 kg of heroin and 5,250 narcotic pills

76 kg of methamphetamine, 21 kg of heroin, 62 kg of skunk, 3 kg of morphine

587 kg of cannabis

1,041 synthetic pharmaceutical pills

12 kg of skunk

1 kg of methamphetamine

1,950 synthetic pharmaceutical pills and various amounts of methamphetamine

6 kg of cannabis and various amounts of hemp seeds

Various amounts of narcotics

Minister Yerlikaya's Message:

Minister Yerlikaya congratulated the gendarmerie who carried out the operation, stating, "We are determined to cleanse our country of drug dealers and street-level sellers. With the support and prayers of our nation, we will make life miserable for drug dealers. We will never allow drug dealers to poison our youth, who are our future, and our society."
