Simultaneous operation against ISIS: 70 detained

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 70 people were detained in an operation carried out against ISIS as part of the "HEROES-40" operation, which was conducted simultaneously in 16 provinces across Turkey.

Yerlikaya stated the following:

"Suspects were apprehended in the 'HEROES-40' operations conducted simultaneously in 16 provinces against the DAESH terrorist organization.

We will not give any breathing room to any terrorists for the peace, unity, and solidarity of our country. With the prayers of our nation and the superior efforts of our security forces, we will continue our fight without interruption."
