Sinan Akçıl reacts to Danla Bilic's Gendarmerie post

Social media influencer Danla Bilic, who was detained as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, thanked the Gendarmerie teams on her social media account after being released.

However, Bilic's post drew sharp criticism from Sinan Akçıl. Akçıl described the message shared by Bilic as a "ridiculous and unserious approach."

Danla Bilic stated that the state treated her with respect during the detention process and that she provided all the tests requested of her. Appreciating the attitude of the Gendarmerie teams, Bilic defended herself against the criticism, asking, "What is a ridiculous and unserious approach?"

Sinan Akçıl, for his part, commented on Bilic's social media post by saying, "We shouldn't say we weren't taken at dawn," and emphasized that jokes should not be made about the serious business of the state. Bilic responded sharply to Akçıl's criticisms on social media. "I was detained, my house was searched, and I gave blood and hair samples. I thanked the officers who treated me with respect. Which of these is a lie?" she said, asserting that there was nothing wrong with expressing her gratitude.

Bilic claimed that the criticisms were political and malicious, stating that what she said was entirely true. "There is not a single falsehood in what I said. I described what I experienced and I stand by it," she said.
