It was learned that in his messages, Talha A. sent an intelligence note to one of the defendants in the case, Tolgahan Demirbaş, after the murder. It was also learned that the phrase "He is the one who found the kids" was used for the detained lawyer Serdar Öktem.
'HE IS THE ONE WHO FOUND THE KIDS'
According to the report by DW Turkish, new correspondence recovered from the seized phone of Talha A., who was serving as a commissioner at the Ankara Police Department Traffic Branch at the time of the murder, was sent to the court by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
It was determined that Talha A. messaged certain individuals regarding the murder. According to the document, when asked why Serdar Öktem was detained at the time, A. replied, "I know him as a lawyer. He is the one who found the kids. He is Çep's lawyer." Doğukan Çep, one of the defendants in the case, is alleged to be the instigator of the Sinan Ateş murder.
In one of his messages, Talha A. wrote that Emre Yüksel, who was detained, was the private secretary of Ülkü Ocakları President Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, and when asked, "Who is left, who else will they take?" he pointed to Yıldırım by saying, "AYY."
It is understood that Talha A. closely followed the developments after the Sinan Ateş murder. It was revealed that he sent messages to people he contacted about the subject, such as "Dodo has been caught," "Tolgahan is in trouble," "He will get a sentence," "For aiding and abetting," and "They spilled the beans inside."
HE SPOKE WITH TOLGAHAN DEMİRBAŞ ON THE PHONE
It was determined that Talha A. sent the police intelligence note to Tolgahan Demirbaş one day after the Sinan Ateş murder, saying, "He came after the incident yesterday, chief." It was also determined that Talha A. spoke with Tolgahan Demirbaş by phone before and after the murder.
When asked about this correspondence in his prosecutor's statement, Tolgahan Demirbaş replied, "I know Atalay because we are in the same community. I do not meet with him often. I did not have a request for an intelligence note regarding the Ateş murder. He may have sent it to inform me. His sending the intelligence note has nothing to do with the murder."
HE IS AMONG THE 17 SUSPECTS
Talha A., who was detained within the scope of the investigation, was released. Talha A. is still among the 17 suspects whose investigation regarding the Sinan Ateş murder is ongoing.
